Technology

Following libraries/tools are used for the implementation of gnome-gnowser :

  • gnome-glade : is a RAD tool to enable quick & easy development of user interfaces for the GTK+ toolkit and the GNOME desktop environment.
  • PyGTK : Lets you to easily create applications with a graphical user interface using the Python programming language.
  • Graphviz: Graph visualization is a way of representing structural information as diagrams of abstract graphs and networks.
  • Cairo:  is a software library used to provide a vector graphics-based, device-independent API.
  • GNOWSYS: is an acronym for Gnowledge Networking and Organizing SYStem. Understanding GNOWSYS is a prerequisite to work around with gnome-gnowser.
